In support of this belief, we have carefully assembled a collection of professionals with experience in general management, strategic consulting, private equity, and investment banking.
Our team has led IPOs, debt offerings, built strategic platforms, managed entrepreneurial companies, participated in turnarounds, and realized double-digit investment returns. We have learned the lessons of managing businesses and invested across multiple business cycles. The collective experience of our team, combined with company management, enables us to quickly resolve problems and identify new opportunities.
email Robert Skandalaris – Chairman
Mr. Skandalaris' entrepreneurial and investor experience includes successfully executing many middle-market transactions. He has held several senior officer positions including Founder, Chairman, and CEO of a billion dollar publicly traded automotive parts supplier; and Chairman and CEO of Acorn Asset Management Corporation. Mr. Skandalaris began his career as a CPA with Touche Ross & Co.

Mr. Morelock has extensive experience with entrepreneurial companies and previously served as President of the 3Sixty Group, Quantum's Industrial Distribution platform. Prior to joining 3Sixty, he founded Pro MotorCar Distribution, a leading-edge automotive diagnostic company. He previously served as the President of Arcee Development in Birmingham, Michigan, a leading commercial and residential renovation company. Mr. Morelock is a graduate of Michigan State University.
email Michael Azar – VP and General Counsel
Mr. Azar is the Secretary and General Counsel of Noble International, Ltd. He also served as Secretary of Veri-Tek International (AMEX:VCC). Prior to joining Noble, Mr. Azar served as General Counsel for River Capital, an investment bank headquartered in Michigan. He holds a BA from Kalamazoo College and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit.

Mr. Kania has extensive experience in finance, operations and sales/marketing in the real estate finance and banking industries. Prior to joining Quantum he held positions with Aegis Mortgage Corporation, Fleet Mortgage Corp, and Homeside Lending. Mr. Kania received his BA in Accounting/Economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
email Dave Scharrer – Director, 3Sixty Distribution Group
Mr. Scharrer has held a number of positions at 3Sixty Group including General Manager and Vice President of Operations. He served as Director of Quality at a large metal stamping company prior to joining the 3Sixty Group team. He also held a variety of engineering and manufacturing positions at General Motors. Mr. Scharrer received his Masters of Science in Engineering Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (GMI).

Mr. Weins' entrepreneurial experience includes building a number of small businesses, including turn-around of the largest Apple Computer distributor in North America (serving educational marketing), creating a web services company that created and hosted over 60,000 small business sites, creating a teir-1 automotive supplier, transforming an automotive supplier into an aerospace systems firm (successfully avoiding the automotive downturn), and guiding the growth of a local search marketing firm. Mr. Weins began his professional career at Arthur Anderson and later joined a regional law firm. He earned his BBA in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan.
email Todd Webber – Director, Internet Services Group
Mr. Webber entered the internet industry in 1999 at Stoneage.com, which he helped transform into Car.com, which was subsequently sold for $48 million in 2004. Mr. Webber, joined Newcars.com in late 2003 and helped leverage its Search Engine Lead Generation Platform BidIQ™ to generate thousands of qualified leads daily. Newcars.com was acquired by Cars.com in the summer of 2005. He founded LocalBizNOW.com in 2006, focused on providing qualified leads to the small business owners across the country. Mr. Webber received his BBA from the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law.

Mr. Skandalaris previously served as Director of Business Development at Quantum, where he was responsible for various matters related to strategic planning and the evaluation of investment opportunities. Prior to joining Quantum, he worked as Director of Corporate Development at Noble International, Ltd. and Senior Analyst of Corporate Development at Lear Corporation. Mr. Skandalaris received a BA in economics with a minor in Sociology from Duke University.
David Langevin – Director, Industrial Manufacturing Group
Mr. Langevin is the Chairman and CEO of Manitex, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNTX) an original Quantum company; and has vast executive experience in corporate finance and strategic planning, both as a senior officer in manufacturing enterprises ranging in sales from $300 million to $2 billion and as a partner in Ernst & Young. He has successfully taken two companies public and has completed over $1 billion in public debt and equity offerings. Mr. Langevin is a CPA with a BS from Illinois State University and an MBA from DePaul University.

Mr. McInerney earned extensive knowledge in sales, marketing and business development from over 25 years of experience in the collegiate, automotive, and cause-related consumer product arenas. He managed two of his family’s nationally recognized, award winning auto dealerships, developed several collegiate licensed product lines for the top 55 Colleges and Universities, and has created successful products and programs benefitting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® foundation, raising funds for breast cancer awareness. Mr. McInerney is a 1987 graduate from the University of Notre Dame where he earned a BA in English and ALPA, an affiliate business degree for liberal arts students.
Johnny Richardson – Director, U-Score
Before joining Quantum, Mr. Richardson founded SportStat, LLC in 2003 and successfully pioneered the technology to provide sports video highlights delivered to the web or mobile phone, within seconds of the live action. Mr. Richardson commitment to education led him to create the SCORE Community Development Corporation, a non-profit entity dedicated to creating collegiate scholarships based upon academic, athletic and extracurricular involvement. Prior to founding SportStat, Mr. Richardson formed Design Animation, LLC, an automotive supplier providing design engineering services to Chrysler, Ford and GM. After five successful years, he sold the company in 2001 to focus his efforts on SportStat. Mr. Richardson attended the University of Southern California, Riverside and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Kristin Puro – Associate General Counsel
Ms. Puro serves as associate general counsel for Quantum, where she works on matters pertaining to due diligence, litigation support, and compliance filings. Prior to joining Quantum, she worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation's counterintelligence group. Ms. Puro received a BA with honors from Washington University St. Louis and earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law School of Law.
Kevin Budzynski – CTO
Mr. Budzynski serves as Chief Technology Officer at Quantum, where he is responsible for managing the graphic, web and copywriting teams. Prior to joining Quantum, he worked as Web Director at Kent Creative Group and ran a sucessful web design firm. Mr. Budzynski received a BA in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economic and a MBA from Central Michigan University.
