Robert Skandalaris – Chairman & CEO
Mr. Skandalaris’ entrepreneurial and investor experience includes successfully executing many middle-market transactions. He has held several senior officer positions including: Founder, Chairman and CEO of a billion dollar publicly traded automotive parts supplier, Chairman and CEO of an international asset management corporation and Senior Vice President of Investments at a New York-based investment bank. Mr. Skandalaris began his career as a CPA with Touche Ross & Co. Mr. Skandalaris has received honorary doctorate degrees from Michigan State University and Eastern Michigan University. He is a trustee at Washington University in St. Louis where he established the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Craig Doescher – Vice President of Quantum Construction
Mr. Doescher has experience in both operating and financial roles within a variety of businesses, large and small. In his current role, Mr. Doescher serves as CFO of Quantum Construction, LLC helping lead the financial and administrative operations of the company. Prior to Quantum Construction, Mr. Doescher assisted in deal evaluation and execution for QVM. Before QVM, Mr. Doescher held senior positions in two startups, as General Manager at Clinton River Medical Products, LLC and Director of Supply Chain at Tegu. He also served as a Financial Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and The Blackstone Group, as well as a Management Trainee at Robert Bosch, LLC. Mr. Doescher studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management where he was a Legatum Fellow, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma.

Linda Liphardt – Corporate Controller
Ms. Liphardt has worked in the Public Accounting field for over 30 years.  She has provided accounting services to individuals and entities alike, that hold greater than $10 million in assets.  Ms. Liphardt is a licensed, enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service for over 20 years, and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College.

David Puro – General Counsel and V.P. of Administration
Mr. Puro has provided legal advice and counsel to both public and privately held companies on a broad range of business and financial transactions, corporate governance, litigation, intellectual property, employment and compliance matters. Mr. Puro earned a BA with honors from the University of Michigan and received a JD from Washington University in St. Louis.

Kristin Puro – Director of Philanthropy
Ms. Puro oversees the day-to-day to operations of the Skandalaris Family Foundation. She has served as corporate counsel at Manitex, worked at the US Attorney’s office and the FBI Investigations’ Counter intelligence Group. Ms. Puro graduated with honors from Washington University St. Louis with a BA and earned a Juris Doctor from Washington University Law School.

Aaron Witalec – Vice President of Aquisitions
Mr. Witalec has nearly two decades of experience specializing in buy-side and sell-side advisory services serving strategic and private equity clients engaged in acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, carve-outs, private capital raising, and venture capital.  Mr. Witalec’s experience spans more than 200 domestic and cross-border transactions ranging in value from $25 million to $2 billion across a broad range of industries.  At Quantum Ventures, Mr. Witalec focuses on identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities, strategic planning and financing needs of portfolio companies, and working with senior management in Quantum’s portfolio companies.  Prior to joining Quantum Ventures, Mr. Witalec was Managing Director of UHY Corporate Finance, a national investment banking / mergers & acquisitions practice and has held key positions at other national and international consulting firms.  Mr. Witalec was the proud recipient of the M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leader Award in 2016 and was the sell-side advisor for Crain’s / ACG Deal of the Year in 2015.

Mike Toribio – Business Unit Leader
Mr. Toribio previously served as an F/A-18 pilot and Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, leading teams and accomplishing missions while implementing assets in excess of $1Bn during peacetime and combat operations. He studied and published original experimental and numerical research in the field of advanced composite material fracture mechanics, specifically in the area of compressive damage zone propagation and material property modeling. Mr. Toribio earned an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, SM in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the United States Naval Academy.

Sarah Hoit – CEO & Co-Founder
Ms. Hoit is a career social entrepreneur, focusing on companies that impact larger social issues. Prior to founding Connected Living, Ms. Hoit was the Founder and CEO of Explore, Inc. Director of Business Planning in President Clinton’s White House Office of National Service, and Managing Director of Sylvan Learning Systems. Sarah has a B.A. with Honors from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Eli Nakhleh – President
Mr. Nakhleh started his career in 1996 producing CAD designs for the aerospace and electronics industry. In 1999, due to a desire to help others and be able to think freely, JW Tek was formed. His goal was to create an I.T. company customizable for the end user. The passion that he has for helping clients has propelled JW Tek forward while offering more to his clients, at a faster, and more reliable pace. He holds himself to high standards and expects nothing but the very best from his employees.

Todd Webber – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Webber entered the internet industry in 1999 at Stoneage.com, which he helped transform into Car.com, which was subsequently sold in 2004. Mr. Webber, joined Newcars.com in late 2003 and helped leverage its Search Engine Lead Generation Platform BidIQ™ to generate thousands of qualified leads daily. Newcars.com was acquired by Cars.com in the summer of 2005. He founded LocalBizNOW.com in 2006, focused on providing qualified leads to businesses across the country. Mr. Webber received his BBA from the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Detroit College of Law.

Art Schueneman – CEO
Mr. Schueneman has 30 years experience managing two custom injection molding companies serving a wide array of markets while focusing on the automotive sector. His companies have developed tier 1, 2 and 3 business relationships with all of the major automotive manufacturers. He has been responsible for developing and implementing sales, production efficiency, cost control, quality, ERP and personnel development programs. Mr. Schueneman also has previous experience as a technical sales representative and served in the United States Army.

Morris Rowlett – President
Mr. Rowlett is a Founding Partner of RESK Consulting and for the past fifteen years has served in an executive capacity as Chairman and/or CEO at portfolio companies for private equity funds where much of the focus has been on distressed investments. Expertise includes lean manufacturing, strategic initiatives, organic growth, management performance and accountability, and cash management. Senior officer positions include Chairman and CEO of Marathon Automotive Group, Chairman, CEO and President of Pilot Industries, President and CEO of Ryobi Die Casting and Chairman of Guilford Mills. Mr. Rowlett currently serves on the board of directors of Jessica’s Brands, a leading distributor of contemporary branded apparel to the off-price market, and as a Senior Advisor to Relativity Capital, a middle market private equity firm. Mr. Rowlett received a BA from Chapman University with an emphasis in Economics.

Jason Strayhorn – Business Unit Leader
Mr. Strayhorn oversees market and asset acquisition strategies to revitalize communities in urban areas.  He is directly involved in asset level decisions for the acquisition and renovation of all single family properties.  Jason has oversight responsibility for business development which includes strategic partnership initiatives, financing and debt opportunities, investment performance, strategic partner’s performance, as well as approving decisions on investments and acquisitions.  Jason has developed strong relationships with the Nation’s largest lending institutions, REO/ Bank asset managers, and local and national partners at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Oded Berkowitz – Business Unit Leader
Mr. Berkowitz is the Founder and CEO of MyRegistry.com. He was previously founder and CEO of a New York based independent film and television production company. Prior to that, he served as the Co-Founder and Senior Managing Partner at Trade.com Global Markets, Inc. He was also the President of Global Partnerships at BlueStone Capital Partners, L.P., where he headed international marketing. Mr. Berkowitz has years of experience on Wall Street and has led many successful corporate financings and initial public offerings.

Dean J. Locke- Business Unit Leader
Mr. Locke is a Certified General Contractor.  Over the past 24 years he has participated in the start-up of a major pre-cast concrete company, eventually becoming President of the firm, and has built hundreds of commercial, military, municipal, and residential construction projects.  Responsible for well over 500 million dollars of construction in his career so far, Dean is well established in the industry in Florida as well as the Southeastern United States. He carries with him an extensive knowledge of exporting goods and services into the Caribbean as well as other Countries.

Ron Embree- Chief Executive Officer
Ron Embree is the principal shareholder and CEO of River Bend Industries. Mr. Embree is a seasoned manufacturing executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries including metal stamping and fabrication, consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods, and injection molding. Mr. Embree spent 15 years with injection molder Moll Industries, where he served as President. Mr. Embree was the primary relationship contact with Whirlpool during his tenure at Moll, which resulted in increased sales to Whirlpool across four plants in the U.S. and Mexico. After Mr. Embree departed Moll in 2006, Moll failed in its attempt to push through major price increases and reductions in payment terms. At that time, Mr. Embree formed River Bend Industries and acquired Moll’s Ft. Smith plant, resulting in significant revenue and profits in RBI’s first year of operations.
Mr. Embree maintains a large network of OEM relationships including Whirlpool, Kawasaki, Electrolux, Artic Cat and Cummins. Mr. Embree holds a Master’s degree and is a Certified Quality Engineer, a Certified ISO Auditor and has extensive training in Six Sigma.

Lee Skandalaris – Business Unit Leader
Mr. Skandalaris previously served as Director of Business Development at Quantum, where he was responsible for various matters related to strategic planning and the evaluation of investment opportunities. Prior to joining Quantum, he worked as Director of Corporate Development at Noble International, Ltd. and Senior Analyst of Corporate Development at Lear Corporation. Mr. Skandalaris received a BA in Economics with a minor in Sociology from Duke University.

Anthony Benvenuti – CEO
Mr. Benvenuti has over 20 years of experience with the Wood Pro Inc and oversees all phases of its operations including sales, marketing, finance and operations.  He began his career at Wood Pro in 1993 and worked in various capacities until being named CEO.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Assumption College in Worcester, MA.
