The Expertise of Our Management Team

We believe that Quantum is differentiated from other middle market corporate development companies by the experience of our management team. In support of this belief, we have carefully assembled a collection of professionals with experience in general management, strategic consulting, private equity, and investment banking. Our team has led IPOs, debt offerings, built strategic platforms, managed entrepreneurial companies, participated in turnarounds, and realized double-digit investment returns. We have learned the lessons of managing businesses and invested across multiple business cycles. The collective experience of our team, combined with company management, enables us to quickly resolve problems and identify new opportunities.

Robert Skandalaris - Principal

Mr. Skandalaris’ entrepreneurial and investor experience as a principal includes successfully executing many middle market transactions. He has held several senior officer positions including Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Noble International, Ltd., a NASDAQ-traded automotive parts supplier; Chairman and CEO of Oakmont Acquisition Corporation, which merged with and is now doing business as Brooke Credit Corporation (OTC:BRCR); and Chairman and CEO of Acorn Asset Management Corporation. Robert Skandalaris began his career as a CPA with Touche Ross & Co.

Michael Azar – Principal and General Counsel

Mr. Azar is the Secretary and General Counsel of Noble International, Ltd. He also served as the President of Oakmont Acquisition Corporation and Secretary of Veri-Tek International (AMEX:VCC). Prior to joining Noble, Mr. Azar served as General Counsel for River Capital, an investment bank headquartered in Michigan. He holds a BA from Kalamazoo College and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit.

Tom Saeli - Director, Automotive Parts Manufacturing Group

Mr. Saeli is currently the CEO of Noble International, Ltd., a NASDAQ-traded automotive parts supplier. Previously, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Lear Corporation, where he was responsible for worldwide investment/transactional activities, strategic planning, shareholder oversight for 35 global joint ventures and alliances, and negotiation of other strategic alliances. Prior to working at Lear, Mr. Saeli was a partner with Oxford Investment Group and also served in various corporate positions with Pepsico, Inc. and CBS, Inc. He earned a BA in economics from Hamilton College and an MBA in finance and accounting from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

David Langevin - Director, Industrial Manufacturing Group

Mr. Langevin is the Chairman and CEO of Veri-Tek International (AMEX:VCC), and has vast executive experience in corporate finance and strategic planning, both as a senior officer in manufacturing enterprises ranging in sales from $300 million to $2 billion and as a partner in Ernst & Young. He has successfully taken two companies public and has completed over $1 billion in public debt and equity offerings. Mr. Langevin is a CPA with a BS from Illinois State University and an MBA from DePaul University.

Mick Lowry - Director, Specialty Financial Services Group

Mr. Lowry serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Brooke Credit Corporation, a specialty finance company that provides senior secured loans to entrepreneurs in the insurance and death care industries. Joining Brooke Credit as its first full-time employee in 1998, Mr. Lowry was employed within the banking system from 1993 to 1998 working in various capacities, including serving as a bank officer for Sunflower Bank, a $1 billion commercial bank headquartered in Salina, Kansas. Mr. Lowry attended Washburn University with an emphasis in business finance.

Garrett Morelock - Director, Industrial Distribution Group

Mr. Morelock has extensive experience with entrepreneurial companies and is currently President of the 3Sixty Group, Quantum's Industrial Distribution platform. Prior to joining 3Sixty, he founded Pro MotorCar Distribution, a leading-edge automotive diagnostic company. Before that, he served as the President of Arcee Development in Birmingham, Michigan, a leading commercial and residential renovation company. Mr. Morelock is a graduate of Michigan State University.

Todd Webber - Director, Internet Services Group

Mr. Webber entered the internet industry in 1999 at Stoneage.com, which he helped transform into Car.com. Car.com subsequently sold for $48 million in 2004. He founded LocalBizNOW.com in 2006. Mr. Webber received a BBA from the College of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico, and earned his Juris Doctor from the Detroit College of Law.

Craig Bickley - Director, CDI Technology, LLC

Mr. Bickley has over twenty years experience in business management and operations as President, COO or General Manager and thirty years experience in strategic selling and marketing to small and large firms. He currently serves as President of CDI Technology, LLC. Mr. Bickley was a co-founder of Marketplace Solutions, a Hospitality Technology company, and served as a national General Manager of MAI Systems. Mr. Bickley received a degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and currently serves on the Board of the Michigan Restaurant Association.

Sam Mancuso - Director, Quantum Software, LLC

Mr. Mancuso has over 30 years experience in the Information Technology industry. He currently serves as the President of Quantum Software, LLC. Prior to joining Quantum, he was the managing principal of an investment firm with equity positions in several technology companies. Previously, he held senior level executive positions at Hewlett Packard Company for their Global Corporate Accounts Organization and a Vice President and General Manager of their North America region. Prior to his positions at HP, he served as executive Vice President at Tecnomatix Technologies as well as Vice President and General Manager at Sun Microsystems. Mr. Mancuso received a BBA from Michigan State University and serves on the Board of Kettering University.

Amber Clark - Director, Pembrook Publishing

Ms. Clark is the general manager of Pembrook Publishing and serves as an analyst for Quantum regarding opportunities in the publishing industry. Ms. Clark holds an MBA with concentrations in marketing and human resources from Michigan State University, as well as an MA in professional writing from Eastern Michigan University.

Jake Kenney - Director, Sports Group

Jake Kenney is the founder and director of research and development for Scorpion Lacrosse, and assists Quantum in evaluating opportunities within the athletics industry. He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in History, where he was a four year varsity athlete on the Princeton lacrosse team. 

Kristin Skandalaris - Associate General Counsel

Ms. Skandalaris serves as associate general counsel for Quantum, where she works on matters pertaining to due diligence, litigation support, and compliance filings. Prior to joining Quantum, she worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ms. Skandalaris received a BA with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law.
